1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using VibeCheck, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

VibeCheck is an AI-powered code analysis platform that:

• Analyzes GitHub repositories for security vulnerabilities
• Scans live applications for security headers and monitoring gaps
• Provides AI-generated fix prompts using Claude Code
• Validates fixes with AI-powered verification

3. Account Registration

To use VibeCheck, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update account information as needed
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Credits System

4.1 Credit Allocation

• New users receive 10 free credits upon signup
• Each code analysis costs 5 credits
• Each fix validation costs 1 credit
• Credits never expire

4.2 Credit Purchases

• Credits can be purchased through our payment system
• All purchases are final and non-refundable
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the service to analyze code you don't have rights to access
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Share account credentials with others
• Abuse the free credit system through multiple accounts
• Use automated systems to access the service beyond rate limits

6. Code Analysis and Repository Access

6.1 Repository Requirements

• You must have legal rights to the code you submit for analysis
• You are responsible for ensuring repositories are public or properly authorized
• Private repository analysis requires appropriate OAuth permissions

6.2 Analysis Accuracy

• AI analysis is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy
• Results should be reviewed by qualified security professionals
• We are not liable for undetected vulnerabilities
• Fix prompts are suggestions and should be tested before deployment

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Code

• You retain all rights to code you submit for analysis
• We do not claim ownership of your code or analysis results
• Analysis results are stored in your account and remain your property

7.2 Our Service

• VibeCheck and all related marks are our property
• The service, including software and algorithms, is protected by intellectual property laws
• You may not use our branding without permission

8. Third-Party Services

VibeCheck integrates with third-party services:

• OpenAI: For AI-powered code analysis
• GitHub: For repository access
• Payment Processors: For credit purchases

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

9. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Maintenance windows will be announced when possible
• We are not liable for service disruptions or data loss
• Credits are not refunded for service downtime

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• VibeCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for security breaches resulting from ignored recommendations

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VibeCheck harmless from claims arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Violation of these terms
• Violation of third-party rights
• Analysis of unauthorized code

12. Termination

12.1 By You

• You may terminate your account at any time
• Unused credits will be forfeited upon termination
• All data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these terms
• Your account is used for fraudulent activity
• You engage in abusive behavior
• Required by law

13. Changes to Terms

• We may modify these terms at any time
• Significant changes will be notified via email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the service

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law
